The online sign up for both members and volunteers was in place for the 2020-21 year and continued into the 2021-22 RWW year.
By January 2022 we have 77 international women signed up. For the most part they had not seen each other nor have the volunteers seen most of them. We had monthly in person meetings with driving offered for November and December.
Due to a dramatic increase in covid19 infections, the in person meeting originally scheduled for Feb 8 2022 was postponed indefinitely. Instead, we were trying an evening ZOOM for February 2, 2022. Volunteers were making an extra effort to contact personally each of the women who signed up since summer of 2021.
Round the World Women completed its 2021-2022 program year with an in-person meeting at Mill River Recreation Area. We had about 16 attendees. We had a pot luck lunch with coordinators Margaret and Nancy bringing desserts. We had two tables about evenly divided of volunteers and members.
We had 10 programs through the year, 7 in person and three on ZOOM. The best attendance of members was the visit to Maple Mob sugaring in March on a Saturday.
