Tuesday 9/26    Pick your own apples! …………………………………………………………………..  10 a.m.

We will go to Pine Hill Orchards, 248 Greenfield Rd. in Colrain, MA. It may be wet. Be sure to wear sneakers or sturdy footwear and warm clothes. We will be outside.We will be picking apples and seeing how a small commercial orchard is run. We’ll try cider and donuts. There are animals to pet and we’ll have a wagon ride. This is a beautiful part of MA.

Meet at the Bridge of Flowers and tour the quaint town of Shelburne Falls including the geological phenomena of the pot holes.

Come to UMASS Hampshire Dining Common for a tour and cooking demonstration of apple recipes and more. UMASS Dining Services is award-winning. Find out why! Everyone is invited to lunch after the program at the Dining Commons.

Meet at the Visitor’s Center, 485 Ware RD, Belchertown, and learn how four towns in MA were flooded to provide water for Boston. Take a scenic hike and climb the lookout tower. Wear shoes good for walking. Bring your camera for fall foliage photos.

Halloween is a popular holiday in the U.S. Come to Nancy Condon’s house in Belchertown to carve pumpkins for Halloween. We will be carving outside so wear warm clothes if necessary.
